Blaine has been in the GIS industry since 1992. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Masters of Geographic Information Science from the University of Minnesota. During his time in the GIS Industry Blaine has had a diverse experience; state and local government, consulting engineering and planning, and Fortune 500 companys. Blaine is an active contributor to the GIS community. He currently serves on the board of the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium, has presented at regional and national conferences and taught college level course in GIS concepts and technologies.
In his “former life” Paul was a systems engineering in the San Francisco Bay Area serving well-know companies like Oracle and Intel. Seeking a change after the hey-days of the 1990′s “dot com” era Paul entered the GIS field in 2003 and began started Northstar Geographics in 2007. In 2012, Paul joined forces with another local firm to create Flat Rock Geographics.
Sue Hackett comes to Flat Rock Geographics from Aeon where she was the Director of Property Management. She has a long history of financial management, human resources and managing a large staff. Prior to Aeon Sue was an owner at a Twin Cities property management firm and was instrumental positioning them during a recent acquisition by another firm.
